Flooring Upgrades

Maplebrooke completed floor replacement works within one of areas at Luton Airport. Works were undertaken at night. The old wooden flooring was removed and replaced with the airports new specification. Works were completed to sets of stairs and around existing carpeted areas too.

Office Refurbishment

We had an office area that needed a full referbishment. We replaced all ceiling tiles, changed the floor, full redecoration and installed new furniture. As the area remained operational we arranged for works to be completed swiftly to ensure we minimised distruption. 

Advertisement Change

10 Apr 2026

After successfully completing works previously we changed the Jet2 advertisement on the underpass bridge into Luton Airport. To minimise disruption we arrange for a crane to lift sections of scaffolding over the bridge while pausing traffic for brief periods. Works were completed safer and more efficiently.

New Store Room

We created a new store area within a sortation site for Amazon. Fencing with new racking was installed as per the clients specification. As part of these works we also extended another caged area onsite to allow for additional racking to be installed.

Mansafe Installation

Following similar works completed to a high standard Maplebrooke were tasked with managing the installation of a new fit for purpose Mansafe System with new access ladders to a number of roofs at Luton Airport. The specialist teams designed a bespoke system to suit the requirements of our client.

Lattice Tower

06 Mar 2026

To ensure one of the critical towers are maintained at Luton Airport we were appointed Principal Contractor to complete a full structural survey and remedial works to the tower. Works involved a number of repairs and a full repaint from top to bottom! Luckily the weather was on our side while the works took place

Service Corridor Works

Due to many years neglect we were tasked with installing a new non-slip resin floor to a service corridor within Luton Airport. The works involved removing failed flooring, prepping the surface and installing a resin floor. The area remained operational so we had to ensure works were suitably planned to prevent disruption to the users of the area.

Dock Leveller Works

19 Jan 2026

Maplebrooke removed failed dock leveller signage for Amazon in Redditch. The signage is an important visual for all operatives unloading/ loading vehicles on what equipment can be used. Works were completed around the 24/7 operation. We have since be asked for quoting similar works to other sites

Christmas 25

After another successful year Maplebrooke celebrated 2025 with a Christmas get together in London. Games, food and drinks were all well received by the team.

Firestation Refurbishment

01 Oct 2025

Maplebrooke undertook refurbishment works at London Luton Airport's Fire Station. Works included new Fire Doors throughout, new flooring, new windows and decorative works. Maplebrooke worked with the Fire Station to allow them to still operate daily whilst causing minimal disruption.

Damaged Fire Rated Glass

09 Aug 2025

Maplebrooke were tasked with completing an emergency repair to a piece of damaged glass within London Luton Airport's Lounge. The glass was accidently damaged but as it acts as a fire rated piece of glass we needed to fast track a new piece and install out of hours to minimise disruption and optimise safety.

Pumping Station Works

10 June 2025

We were required to remove the existing Asbestos Roof through a local asbestos contractor and have the area certified for us to enter then complete the refurbishment works which included new roof, facias and guttering. A new metal door set was installed as well

Anti-Slip Stair Treads

23 April 2025



Following a Health & Safety request from one of our clients we were tasked with replacing the anti-slip stair treads used for passengers flying privately. We had a small window to replace these for new custom stair treads in-between a number of scheduled flights.

Metal Door Sets

08 April 2025

Maplebrooke were tasked with replacing a double door set with a new metal door set for one of our clients. Works needed to be completed within the day to secure the area. The doors were manufactured to match the previous set but the openings were reversed to allow for easier access in and out of the Plant Room.

Crash Deck Scaffold

27 Feb 2025

Maplebrooke had to install a crash deck scaffold to allow for two light boxes to be replaced. The scaffold was not used for access but was in place due to the road being operative 24/7. Works were undertaken during multiple shifts to suit the clients needs

Onward Travel Centre

10 Jan 2025

To allow for another project to be undertaken Maplebrooke were tasked with creating a new 'Onward Travel Centre' for the operators at Luton Airport. Works were undertaken in a live airport environment and were to a strict deadline.

International Departure Lounge Works

12 Dec 2024

These works involved removing the existing failed flooring and replacing with a new improved tile. New power points were installed and a new information board was installed for passengers at London Luton Airport.

Maplebrooke Christmas Party

We recently had out Christmas Party at TopGolf In Watford to celebrate the hard work from the team this year. A great evening was had by all. This was a great round up to the year and was thoroughly enjoyed by all.

Removal of Redundant Ductwork

We were required to remove three sections of redundant ductwork to allow for the future installation of a Mansafe System. The works required preparation by our specialist asbestos contractor to allow for the removal of these sections of ductwork.

Internal Hoarding Install

Maplebrooke were tasked with installing a large internal hoarding within the departure lounge of London Luton Airport. The design was carefully considered to ensure the fire strategy was not compromised during the works and that temporary works were suitably managed

Shingle Replacement

09 Nov 2024

One of clients requested that their failed shingle around their offices to be replaced. Old shingle was removed, new supports installed and then it was all backfilled. This simple job has greatly improved the image of the offices

ATM Removal

31 Oct 2024

As part of our ongoing works for Change Group the small project consisted of removing the existing ATM machine and replacing the diabond on the unit. Works were completed out of hours due to being located within a busy environment

Charity Football Day

18th October 2024

Maplebrooke sponsored the Charity Football Day hosted by London Luton Airport in support of their charities. We also entered a team but unfortunately no trophies won this time!

Roof Repairs

13 September 2024

Maplebrooke were tasked with completing essential roof repairs to one of the airside buildings at London Luton Airport. The project involved cleaning the existing roof, re-felting and installing replacement skylights.
